In “Australia,” a continuation of seven programs featuring the continents of the globe, Incidental Chamber Players will perform "Two Pieces for Solo Oboe"
by Ross Edward, "Four Light Bassoon Pieces" by Elena Kats-Chernin, "Morning Star II" by Paul Stanhope, and "Old Tribal Woman" by Michael Knopf. The
highlight of the program will be a U.S. premier of Stuart Greenbaum’s "Mondrian Interiors," which creates a new palette of sounds with a rare combination
of harp and piano. Musicians featured will be David Fitzpatrick, oboe, Ryan Leonard, clarinet, Kyle Morelock, horn, Kika Wright, bassoon, Amaury Morales,
piano, and Natalie Severson, harp. The Incidental Chamber Players is a music collective focused on reviving hidden gems in the chamber music repertoire.
Performing works that are unjustly forgotten or rarely heard, I.C.Players create ‘incidental’ programs threaded together by their woodwind identity.
The collective is a core of woodwind players working with collaborators to produce an immersive concert experience. (http://icplayers.org/index.
