Introduction to Crankies for Kids and Adults

2-3:30 pm.

Come learn the art of the "crankie" (or moving panorama) with First Unitarian Church's Artist-in-Residence, Ellen Gozion. A gifted folksinger, visual artist and pianist, Ellen will lead all ages of participants through the basics of crankie-making, culminating in a collage-based piece of art to accompany congregational singing of "Spirit of Life."

This initial workshop will be followed by two other:


Saturday, January 27 1-5pm--Finish "Spirit of Life," followed by potluck and pizza

Sunday, February 11, Multi-Gen R.E. Sunday Crankie Debut during Worship
