Congratulations to Stephanie Pawlowski, who has been accepted into the Commissioned Lay Minister program of the Central East Regional Group (CERG) of the
Unitarian Universalist Association! Over the next couple of years, Stephanie will be engaging in an intensive program of supervised study and practical
experience. At the conclusion of her preparatory process, she will be trained to provide leadership in such areas as worship, pastoral care, adult
faith formation, lay leadership training, and weddings and memorial services.
You can learn more about the Commissioned Lay Minister program here: http://www.uua.org/central-east/programs/cll. Originally set up to provide training for lay leaders in Unitarian Universalist congregations not served by an ordained minister, the Commissioned Lay Minister program is a wonderful path for committed lay leaders to explore and deepen their own spirituality in preparation for significant leadership and service in many different kinds of congregational settings. If you find yourself wondering whether the Commissioned Lay Minister program might be right for you, please contact Rev. David Herndon at 412-621-8008, extension 102, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
