As you may know, "Escalating Inequality" is one of this year's UUA Congregational Study/Action Issues. That theme, and others, will be part of the lay-led Labor Sunday service organized by the Sunday Celebrations Committee for this coming Sunday, September 4. Members of the Committee will speak and read on matters concerning work, labor and economic justice. As in several past years, our Folk Circle will be providing some very special music, and the congregation will be singing some stirring songs and anthems, not all of them from our hymnals. We hope this will be a chance for us all to focus on the true significance of Labor day and to raise our voices and spirits for the cause. We hope to see you (and any of your family, friends, neighbors or house guests who might be interested) this Sunday!
