From service opportunities and field trips, to spiritual practice and creating a youth service, our community welcomes and cultivates youth as the emerging leaders they are. We are a welcoming and radically inclusive community, and youth learn along with the congregation to build beloved community and find a place where they are accepted.
On Sunday Mornings:
Compass Points (Grades 6 - 8)
Each year, we offer one of two alternating programs that provide important formative foundations for the transition into high school-aged youth. These programs usually meet twice a month on Sunday evenings, and include special field trips and overnights. For the 2017-18 year, the Sunday evening program is the Our Whole Lives (grades 7 - 8) sexuality education course. In 2018-19, we will offer Coming of Age (grades 8 and/or 9), a year-long Unitarian Universalist rites of passage program.
