Habitat Work Party

9:00am - 3:00pm

Feeling the Winter Blues? Come to a Habitat Work Party on Saturday, January 26 from 9 AM to 3 PM and get energized helping to build a home for a family only 2 miles from our church. No skills necessary. Bring your lunch and water. Wear work clothes and bring your gloves. When you finish the day working with fellow Unitarians, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. Buffalo Rose is, in the words of its singer/songwriter/guitarist Shane McLaughlin, “not ‘cher Momma’s bluegrass.” Formed in Pittsburgh in 2016, the group blends folk, soul and bluegrass into something amorphously Americana, but decidedly their own.
