DESCRIPTION:First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh is located on the corner o
 f Ellsworth and Morewood Avenues in the Shadyside neighborhood. On Saturda
 y\, May 2nd\, a temporary labyrinth\, created with assistance from Lars Ho
 wlett\, www.DiscoverLabyrinths.com will be located on the church lawn on t
 he Ellsworth Ave. side.* It will be an “open walk” which means you can
  join anytime between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Meditative music will be pr
 ovided by Susan Spangler and David Bennett of Joy Street! Joy Street! – 
 Brian Junker\n\nCome experience walking on an ancient archetype. When we w
 alk and listen to our breath\, we relax and move meditatively. The labyrin
 th is a one way walk into a center and back out on the same path. Lauren A
 rtress\, founder of Veriditas www.veriditas.org writes\, “ The labyrinth
  is a living portal into the unseen world of flow. Step by step\, the thin
 king mind slowly yields\, and body remembers its innate intelligence. Brea
 th become rhythm. ….In the labyrinth\, flow is not something you force. 
 It is something you return to\, a current alive inside you.”\n\n*Please 
 note that there are stairs on the Ellsworth Ave side. The accessible entra
 nce to the church is located on 605 Morewood Ave. The sidewalk by the chur
 ch parking pad leads to the doors of the Garden Lobby. Handicapped parking
  is also offered on Morewood Ave.\n\nSchweitzer room and garden
