SUMMARY:Festival of the Dead - A Samhain Holy Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Earth Religion-centered members and friends of the First Unitar
 ian Church will host a ceremony to observe and celebrate the holiday Samha
 in (Saa-wn). This is an old European holiday that celebrates the dead and 
 our ancestors and honors the gift of life. Some refreshments will be serve
 d afterward. Please bring a poem or prayer to share. If you have a photo o
 f a departed loved one (this includes pets) that you want to place on the 
 Samhain altar\, please bring it. There will be an interfaith sharing perio
 d and a short meditation—candles lighting ceremony in the garden.\n\nGar
 den and Schweitzer room
