 the door.\n\nBertha and the Belles is an acoustic quartet established in l
 ate 2021. Based in Pittsburgh\, PA\, this band features the powerful singi
 ng of Pam Hawley\, the remarkable fiddling of Alice Backer\, the lovely\, 
 rootsy vocals of Annie Trimble\, AND some of the best duet and trio vocal 
 harmony around. In addition\, the powerful rhythm section of Annie’s gui
 tar\, Pam’s banjo uke\, and “Bertha” — Richard Gordon’s bass —
  provides a solid backdrop for an exciting mixture of country\, swing\, sp
 iritual\, old -time and other folk music. Their first CD is available on t
 heir website\, https://bethaandthebelles.com\n\nDan Petrich is opening the
  show. Dan is a Pittsburgh-based musician featuring fingerstyle guitar\, w
 ho writes\, records\, and performs music in the folk tradition. His work a
 lso explores and integrates elements of American Primitive\, ambient\, and
  field recording. You can find him playing at venues such as Mr. Small’s
 \, Acoustic Music Works\, Mel’s Petite Cafe\, and the Sunnyhill Live! co
