DESCRIPTION:Subject: What is nutrition security\, and how is it currently e
 xamined? What factors are important to achieve nutrition security? Dr. Ful
 ay will discuss how PHRESH examines access to healthy food and key finding
 s from the PHRESH Research project of two Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Finall
 y\, she will discuss the potential importance of nutrition security for pu
 blic health outcomes such as diet\, chronic disease risk\, and cognitive h
 ealth.\n\nThe Speaker: Aarohee Fulay is broadly interested in investigatin
 g how food insecurity\, food access\, and the food environment (nutrition 
 policies and programs\, etc.) impact dietary quality\, chronic disease ris
 k\, and overall well-being in vulnerable populations. She is particularly 
 interested in studying the association of food insecurity with dietary qua
 lity and chronic disease risk in children\, adolescents\, and college stud
 ents.
