 er to connect with other members and friends\, to get to know each other b
 eyond the casual greetings we may extend to one another on Sundays.\n\nA c
 ottage meeting is a one-time\, small group\, facilitated listening circle 
 wherein participants share their experiences\, dreams and ideas for the ch
 urch community in response to a few provided discussion questions. The Fir
 st Unitarian Church Vision-Identity-Mission (VIM) Team hosts these gatheri
 ngs annually\, and participants find them to be an extraordinarily valuabl
 e opportunity to connect in community.\n\nChoose a session that fits your

 sessions this year focus on the idea of a behavioral covenant for our cong
 regation\, why it is important and what should go into it. Covenants\, key
  to life in an intentional community\, describe behaviors for how we will 
 be with each other. We of course cannot change the personalities of indivi
 duals\, but we can help one another to be faithful\, to seek to create env
 ironments in which the possibilities of reconciliation are increased. The 
 discussion questions are provided in advance to registered participants.\n
