Sunday Morning FORUM
FORUM, the Sunday morning lecture series held at First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh, features presentations on topical issues given by distinguished individuals from our congregation and from local universities, organizations, businesses and government.
FORUM begins each September on the Sunday following the Ingathering Brunch and ends on the final Sunday of April. To be notified weekly about each Sunday’s topic and speaker, sign up for the email distribution list by sending your request to UUSundayMorningForum@gmail.com, and we will add your name to list.
FORUM takes place in the Schweitzer Room on Sundays at 9:00am. Our format is as follows:
- Presentation (50 – 60 minutes) uninterrupted except for clarification requests
- Questions and discussion (15 – 20 minutes) deferred until conclusion of talk

The goal of FORUM is to present a wide variety of topics and provide a setting for the exchange of ideas, opinions and perspectives. To achieve this aim, we endeavor to select interesting, engaging speakers who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their subject.
