Four Black Humanists

Join us in person or on Zoom as we discuss three African-Americans and one African whose views were clearly humanistic, even if they didn’t apply the term to themselves.

These are the writer James Baldwin, the playwright Lorraine Hansberry, the civil rights advocate Bayard Rustin, and the Nigerian educator Tai Solarin.

This event will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6.

We hope to see you in the Schweitzer Room, but if this doesn’t work out for you, write to HumanistGroup@first-unitarian-pgh.org for the link.
