Khasi Hills India Visitor on June 18: Yoga Breathing, Sermon, and Luncheon

How exciting that the 20-year anniversary of our church sponsorship of the Annie Margaret Barr School coincides with UUA General Assembly. Reverend Nangroi Suting, who is the Assistant Principal of our school, will be here for multiple activities, with the main congregation events on Sunday, June 18. We hope many people will come for this special Sunday to show support for the good works of our Khasi Hills Unitarian siblings.

YOGA BREATHING SESSION: 10:00 AM, room TBA. Nangroi will share a breathing technique called kriya from the Art of Living. It is a yogic practice that is meant to purify the body. Just 15-20 minutes. No experience needed.

SERMON AND TIME FOR ALL AGES: “The Purpose of Life” We are here on this planet to utilize life to the fullest so that it has a purpose for ourselves and for others too. Explore your own purpose and hear inspiration about the school we sponsor. Time for All Ages will introduce a bit more about Khasi children, along with acknowledging Father’s Day.

COMPLIMENTARY LUNCH AND BRIEF Q & A: Everyone is invited to a picnic style lunch reception to greet Reverend Suting, explore a display table of items from over 20 years, and ask whatever you might be curious about!
