We have raised about half of the $9600 to support BOTH of the two teachers we have been sponsoring at the Annie Margaret Barr Higher Secondary School in Kharang, India. Lamborlang Syiem and Altresha Marbaniang are the teachers we sponsor in the expanded school so that students can graduate high school locally rather than move to the state capital. Amazingly $4800 funds a teacher’s salary for the entire year! We hope that February Share the Plate Month will raise the funds for the second teacher.
