Kris has been a member of 1st Unitarian Church Pittsburgh since 1992. He has served on various committees and was 1st Church Adult Choir piano accompanist 2000 – 2002. He holds degrees in music education, musicology, and choral conducting, and has many years experience directing choirs at the high school, university, and adult church & community choir level. He currently works as pianist at Point Park University and is Co-founder/Producer of the Let Freedom Sing Concerts, the Pittsburgh region’s premiere celebration of the MLK Holiday.
