| Dear friends, Thank you to everyone who performed at the Pride Festival. You gave a spirited, uplifting performance and added to the joy of the space and the occasion. I appreciate everyone’s dedication, patience, talent and good humor. Our last performances before our summer hiatus will be on June 18, celebrating the Juneteenth Holiday, along with Deryck Tines and the Lemington Gospel Chorale. The schedule of activities is below. Please note there will be no more Wednesday rehearsals at First UU this summer, and neither will we perform at a Sunday morning service in July, as we had originally contemplated. Our remaining rehearsals are this Thursday afternoon and next week Tuesday & Thursday early evenings at the Afro American Music Institute (AAMI), led by Deryck Tines (see more details below.) Schedule June 7, NO Wednesday Rehearsal – Take a break! And no more Wednesday rehearsals until September. June 8, Thursday, 12 – 2pm.
