PIIN is the October Share the Plate charity!
Since 2000, PIIN (The Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network) has been organizing people of faith to change the balance of power for justice and equity in Southwestern PA. PIIN is a power building organization of 31 interfaith congregations, nonprofits and labor organizations focused on affecting change through the practices of community organizing. Through mentoring and training leaders, building relationships with those in power and holding them accountable, and planning and implementing powerful collective action, PIIN creates opportunities for marginalized people, to build power for justice. New UU Statement of Values
After a democratic process involving thousands of Unitarian Universalists discussing the faith’s values and core theology over the past four-plus years, delegates at the 2024 Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) General Assembly voted decisively to approve a new statement of values and beliefs for Unitarian Universalism. Beginner Improv Workshop
Improvised theater, or improv, is a performance art that is totally made up on the spot. This workshop will introduced participants to the core ideas of improv, with a focus on collaboratively discovering fun and play. This event is free and open to all!
