Your Capital Campaign dollars are at work. Take a look at the beautifully restored kitchen floors! Thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported our Capital Campaign, the kitchen floors have been professionally cleaned, stripped, and waxed, giving the space a fresh new look.
The project also provided an unexpected bonus. With everything temporarily removed from the kitchen, we had the opportunity to rethink how items are organized and stored. A cleaner, more efficient kitchen will make life easier for everyone who uses this important space.
Special thanks to our sexton, Dan Laity, who went above and beyond to move equipment and supplies before the work began and helped make the project possible.
Additional thanks to Jan Harrison, Paul Flannigan and Jean Schmidt who gave up part of their Saturday to help put everything back together and reorganize the kitchen. Their hard work and thoughtful ideas have helped make our kitchen even more functional for the many ministries and groups that depend on it.
Thank you to everyone whose generosity and volunteer spirit continue to strengthen our church community. The Undercoft Gallery floors are next!
