Congregational Racial Justice Read and March 17 Conversation with Members of Pittsburgh’s Oldest Black Church

In anticipation of the March 17 Table Talk that Rev. Kate and the Racial Justice Task Force have planned with Rev. Dale Snyder and others from Bethel AME Church, we will be working to explore their recommended book, Reparations: A Christian Call for Repentance and Repair, by Kwon and Thompson, over the coming weeks.  RJ Task Force members will have a table at coffee hour each Sunday to talk about the Bethel AME Church Reparations Project and will have the book available. We have also planned discussions on sequential parts of the book on Sundays, February 25, and March 3 and 10. These will be after church from 12-1, with refreshments!  Come take a look at coffee hour.  Or you can contact RacialJustice@first-unitarian-pgh.orgto sign up.
