The Alternative Holiday Gift Market is a long First UU tradition! In partnership with Alternative Gifts International, we have selected 12 compelling global and US causes for you to “shop” among as alternative/extra gifts of conscience this holiday season. On two successive Sundays, Dec 3 & 10, you can browse among the displays of urgent, poignant and powerful causes that are carefully vetted/managed by AGI. Your charitable donation can be designated in honor of a friend or family member. You’ll receive a beautiful description of the cause and a Gift Holiday Card of your choice at check out, Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards taken. Give a gift that will have a profound effect on a person/family in need and will be a radical act of kindness! Tables will also be hosted by Reading Ready Pittsburgh, Khasi Hills and Valley Clean Air.
