Traveling to the Khasi Hills

First UU Forum Speaker: Shelley Ross has been a member of First Unitarian Church for almost 30 years and part of the Khasi Hills Partnership Team since its inception. After many years of waiting for “the right time,” she traveled to northeast India in the fall of 2025 to visit our colleagues and the Annie Margaret Barr school there.

We are proud of the impact our Church’s contributions are having on the school and the village. Join us in the Schweitzer Room, or over Zoom, as Shelley transports us with images from her journey to visit our friends and colleagues, and shares with us some stories about the Khasi Hills culture and environment.
