From your Art Committee

Our next art exhibit is compliments of The Friends of Aseema. This group works with children from the streets of Mumbai, India. We are fortunate to have this group working with us to share the work of these children and to share information about their critical program.

This Sunday is the last week for The Member Art Exhibit hanging in the Undercroft Gallery. The show is full of beautiful work done by our talented members (and a couple of family members). So check it out if you have not yet seen it!! And if you have work hanging in the show, we will take it down on Thursday, September 27, if it is still on the walls. If you will be taking it down this coming Sunday, please wait until at least 12:30 p.m. (or take it down later in the afternoon if you are at the Meeting Kate is hosting at 4 p.m.). That gives folks one last chance to check out the show.

One more item of Art Committee business. We are looking for committee members – or helpers – to work with members of the committee to hang art exhibits. The committee is full of interesting 80-year-olds – and a couple of folks in their 70s. Not a lot of ladder-friendly – or even stretching folks. Consider working with this group so that we can keep hanging interesting art exhibits in the Undercroft Gallery. The next hanging will be Thursday, October 27. Call Ali for the time. We can use your help!!
