The First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate facilitators for our Our Whole Lives (OWL) sexuality education program. It’s that time of year again…we are offering the OWL program for junior high in the coming year, and we need 3 more facilitators! Luckily, there is now online training to facilitate this absolutely important program. The trainings are offered in August and September, and will be paid for or reimbursed by the church. See them here.
OWL is a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes honesty, respect, and responsibility in exploring topics of sexuality, relationships, and identity.
Facilitators help create a safe, inclusive space where participants can learn, ask questions, and grow in understanding. Training for Our Whole Lives (OWL) is provided through the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Together, we can nurture a community that celebrates healthy sexuality and lifelong learning.
If you are interested, please let Erica know ASAP. Thanks!
