October is PIIN’s Share the Plate month and PIIN for Pies month. PIIN (the PA Interfaith Impact Network) is a grassroots coalition of faith congregations, organizations and individuals committed to building power for justice in Southwestern Pennsylvania. First UU was a founding member 26 years ago. Rev. Kate Walker is currently the President of PIIN. Rabbi Amy Bardack of Dor Hadash is Vice President.

Come enjoy fellowship and good food at the 4th annual Pies for PIIN fundraising picnic, co-sponsored by Congregation Dor Hadash and First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh at First Unitarian, 605 Morewood Avenue. Come learn about PIIN’s justice work and how you can donate your Time, Talents and Money to support PIIN’s justice work.

About 12:45 p.m. – The Program – There will be children’s activities during the program.
