That old bit of advice comes from an English rhyme meant to help children cope with bullying; “Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me”.  Our Theme of the Month is Courage, and it takes courage to proclaim that words do matter, and they can cause harm. Yet, how do we balance free speech with impact and harm?
