Deena is bringing over 20 years of experience in public education. Originally from Wheeling, WV, she now calls the Swissvale neighborhood of Pittsburgh home. Deena currently teaches first grade at our virtual elementary school, where she enjoys fostering early literacy and curiosity. Outside of the virtual classroom, she is a proud mom to her 8-year-old daughter, Arbor, and lives with her cat, Charlie. In her free time, you can find Deena thrifting for unique finds, crafting, or enjoying nature and the local art scene.
