The Wednesday, May 13th, meeting of the Men’s group will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 in The Priestly Room.   Our leader will be John Balance on the topic “Visiting Military Cemeteries as a Spiritual Practice.”   During a three-month period in Belgium, John encountered firsthand the World War I military cemeteries, which were a life-changing experience for him.   For more information, contact Jim Reitz at j5650r@comcast.net.

John is an ordained minister in the Unitarian Church.  He completed his internship at 1st Church, and during the two-year period between Rev. Herndon and Rev. Walker, he served as head of Pastoral care for our church.   He has been an active member of our men’s group for a LONG time.
