“What if Love is at the Center of All We Are and Do?”

The Unitarian Universalist Association is considering a serious re-write of the Seven Principles, our public covenant stating our values in the form or Principles.  The current new version puts love at the center of our UU covenant, held together by Interdependence, Pluralism, Justice, Transformation, Generosity and Equity.  The new version also names what inspires us and includes our commitment to inclusion.  The changes are significant, and they ask a lot of UU’s.  Is love strong enough to hold our faith together?    On this Mother’s Day, we’ll honor the love of all mothers; those yet to be, those only dreaming, those grieving, and those celebrating.
