With more than 700 graduates, an 80 percent completion rate, and an 85 percent placement rate, Pittsburgh APRI and its “Breaking the Chains of Poverty” pre-apprenticeship program is transforming activism into action. APRI is an Organization of Black Trade Unionists Fighting for Racial Equality and Economic Justice.

Rev. Dr. Kate R. Walker is working with Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network to organize an event this Friday, January 30.  This church is a founding member of PIIN and a leading religious community. The event on Friday is being done in coordination with the Gamaliel Network.  We offer our deep sympathy to the family of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, and to the courageous people of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
