“Ring a Ding: The Bells Call for Compassion”
Livestreamed at 4:30 pm The call of the holiday bells reminds us to be our best self, no matter what house of worship we attend, or don’t attend. We have two Christmas Eve services ending with candles and Silent Night, 4:30 (family oriented) and 7 p.m.
December Share the Plate is East End Cooperative Ministry
EAST END COOPERATIVE MINISTRY
Founded in 1970, East End Cooperative Ministry serves thousands of individuals and families in the Pittsburgh region. Through three essential programs, Community Food Services (CFS), Housing and Employment Services (HES), and Children and Youth Services (CYS).
East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) was founded in response to changes in the East End community, born when local faith communities recognized that the troubles of the community were too great for any one of them to address alone. EECM was initially envisioned to serve the young, the elderly, and the poor of the area, as well as to promote interfaith events. Throughout its 55 years, EECM has continued to respond to changing community needs through its many programs and services.Winter Solstice Service
The Dance Choir welcomes all to the First Unitarian’s annual Winter Solstice Service on Sunday, December 21st, at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. This peaceful, contemplative, participatory, and celebratory service of dance, music, and readings is most appropriate for older children and adults.
We are pleased to be collaborating with musicians Jett Downey and members of the Joy Street band, including First U’s Brian Junker.
The service will be followed by light seasonal refreshments.Christmas Eve Services

Celebrate the Season and join us for meaningful holiday worship. On Christmas Eve, all are welcome to our 4:30pm Family Service or our 7:00pm Candlelight Service featuring theChoir and Brass. Come as you are
