Social Action
Providing service to others is a key part of the mission of First Unitarian Church. There are many opportunities to participate in social action through a number of groups and outreach programs. We encourage you to find one or more ways to participate that are meaningful to you. Our causes in the Pittsburgh area can be found on our Social Justice page.
More is asked of us that we could have imagined. The beauty of life is such that it will not let us go until we have offered the blessing we have.

Habitat For Humanity Team
We organize Habitat for Humanity work parties about 4-5 times a year. Members and friends work at a home site doing such tasks as painting, framing windows, smoothing drywall, laying ceramic tile, clearing brush, building fences and sheds and landscaping. It is a highly rewarding experience for all involved. Contact Marty Lieb at liebm38@yahoo.com.
